  Mommies Hate Me

When I called mothers irrational, emotional and illogical, I never dreamt the dears would arrive in droves to prove my point. Now, these bored stay-at-home mothers are spamming my guestbook with the clever, "I'm a proud breeder!" Apparently, these drones don't realize their IP addresses are posted with their guestbook entries. I can easily ban their IP addresses, which is what I'm doing. These women just don't get it. Each time they commit another juvenile act, they are driving my point home to the readers of this site. I guess I should thank them, but in reality, I'd love to pump a few bullets into the backs of their heads.

A lovely lady (whom I misidentified as being from iVillage) has forwarded me all of the e-mails from their mailing list. It appears the sow from AlternaMoms has been encouraging members of that site and the iVillage forums to spam my guestbook. Very obnoxious. Very childish. Very in violation of member terms of use. I've reported our lovely Alternamom Heather, and I'm in the process of reporting her lackies.

I can now match their e-mail addresses with their guestbook comments, and since they're so proud of engaging in activity that violates their member terms of use, it shouldn't be too much of a problem getting them booted. We all know that spam is the highest priority for ISP's. Even kiddie porn is a distant second.

Unlike these gals, I legitimately voice my grievances. That's why I have a Website. The thought of stooping to such childish behavior as repeatedly signing a guestbook with, "I'm proud to be a breeder!!!" would never cross my mind.

What follows are the e-mails from Alternamom Heather. I ask that none of you act on this, although I refuse to accept responsibility if you do. I'm going through legal channels to have this resolved. Remember, we're adults here. We take the higher ground. I just want you to see exactly what kind of immature behavior I'm dealing with.

You'll love the initial call to arms. Because they're too cheap to pay for more bandwidth, it's my fault that what little they have is being sucked up by visitors from my site.

Subject: [AMU!] Calling ALL "Breeders"!

Hallo!

We have a favor to ask of all of you. Now you KNOW how I feel about chain letters but Chris and I feel that this needs to be done, and email is the best way to do it.

Background (for those of you tuning in now): Recently AMU! has been barraged with visitors from a website owned by The Misanthropic Bitch. Barraged is an understatement - our bandwidth usage has increased tenfold in the past two weeks. The latest development is that someone has taken the picture of me from my son's birth story and altered it in "an unflattering manner", as Chris says. (I have not seen the pic and don't intend to do so.) The link is in the TMB's guestbook, and the person who did it is saying that he can do so because it's a "parody" and "parodies are protected under the first amendment". I wouldn't bother looking for it.

Now we have already started the "I'm a Proud Breeder" campaign (for info please go to http://www.alternamoms.com/breeder.html ) but our second phase is to get everyone we know to go to the guestbook of the TMB (at http://saturn.guestworld.tripod.lycos.com/wgb/wgbsign.dbm?owner=misbitch ) and enter ONLY the name and the message. DO NOT ENTER YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, I REPEAT, DO NOT ENTER YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.

We suggest for your name something like "a proud breeder" and for your message "I am proud to be a breeder." SAY NOTHING ELSE. Our idea here is to totally flood her guestbook (that is, until we can get Lycos/Tripod to take it down). It's pretty apparent that she can't take anything other than complete devotion or revulsion. Reclaiming the words that she has used against us, if I am reading her correctly, should do some good for us.

We are asking that you send this email to as many sympathetic people you know as possible. Remember, the idea is to get her to be sick of deleting these things from her guestbook.

Again, that url is: http://saturn.guestworld.tripod.lycos.com/wgb/wgbsign.dbm?owner=misbitch

You do not have to view any of her website to do this - this link will take you directly to the "Please Sign the Guestbook" page.

Please pass this email on to as many people as you can that would be sympathetic.

Thank you,

Heather and Chris Kalisiak

Hello again,

Just remember to add a whole bunch of entries in the guest book! Signing the guest book 20 or 30 times isn't too much! Remember, we're trying to get on TMB's case, and the only way to do that is to keep her busy!

All you have to do to sign it a whole bunch of times is to click "back" after you signed it once, and click on the "submit" button again! That's all there is to it! Keep going back and forth until your fingers get tired!

Chris and Heather --

The Kalisiaks have a new email address, please adjust your address book.

Rats! It looks like she has strict control over what gets added to the guest book!

Don't bother attempting to sign the guestbook, then...

Ok, sorry about the false alarm everyone... We thought it would work, but I guess it won't... We can still try to get the guest book shut down though.

A slightly saddened and slightly perturbed Chris and Heather --

Surprise, surprise. After coming home from class, an e-mail from the Kalisiaks was waiting for me. I guess this is over.

Hello again,

I signed the guestbook this morning with a formal apology and a brief explanation. After I attempted to sign, a message was displayed stating, effectively, that my signature was on hold because I used HTML in the signature. This is true, I used page breaks between paragraphs.

I wasn't sure if the signature was immediately discarded or not; and I wasn't sure if this was why I had not seen either the signature in your guestbook or a response on your part. So, I decided to follow-up with an email (which you most assuredly will receive) re-stating:.

It was I, Chris Kalisiak, not Heather, that instigated the mass-signing of the guestbook with messages stating: "proud to be a breeder".. I wish to formally apologize for my actions. It was a mistake, and I am sorry..

The email address "kalisiak@blazenet.net" has been deactivated, the ICQ number listed in the emails has been abandoned, and the AMU! mailing list has been terminated.. Please note that I sent out two emails imploring a "cease and desist" to the AMU! mailing list within two hours of sending out the initial mailing.

All references mentioning your site by name have been removed from our site. Nowhere on our site does it mention your site's name; not even an indirect reference.

Additionally, I am not sure what you are referring to regarding the "iVilliage forums". I do not have an account at iVilliage, and Heather has not posted there in months. I'm sure this can be verified by iVilliage if necessary.

I am also sure they can run the same "traceroute" that you used on IP addresses to verify that no posts to any iVilliage forum came from our previous ISP (blazenet.net) with the dynamic IP address we were assigned while we were logged on last night.
